Philip Martin Gallery and Haverkampf Leistenschneider are pleased to announce “Philip Martin Gallery @ Haverkampf Leistenschneider.” The project will consist of two exhibitions at Haverkampf Leistenschneider’s Berlin gallery space, that will run concurrently from July 4 to 19, 2025.
In a collaboration between the galleries, Philip Martin Gallery has been invited to present its program in two simultaneous exhibitions: the first features new wall-mounted sculptures by Berlin-based artist Katy Cowan; the second is a group presentation of new, rare and never-before-seen woks by Kwame Brathwaite, Sky Glabush, John Joseph Mitchell, Laurie Nye and Sophie Treppendahl.
Berlin audiences first saw Sophie Treppendahl’s work at Haverkampf Leistenschender in the exhibitions, “My World Play” (2023) and “A Closer Look” (2025). Sky Glabush and Laurie Nye’s respective works were recently featured in “BodyLand” (2022) curated by Lauren Taschen at Max Hetzler Galerie. Kwame Brathwaite and John Joseph Mitchell’s respective works have not previously been seen in the city.
In July 2026, Haverkampf Leistenschneider will be hosted by Philip Martin Gallery in Los Angeles in return. Stay tuned!
