“Start of the Berlin season: Where to go this weekend? The most exciting openings before Art Week,” by Anna Meinecke

“Alex Müller has moved in. Using a bathtub, table, cutlery and mop, she sketches private rooms in which memories of and projections onto family resonate. Using poppy seeds, she has added a window to the architecture of Haverkampf Leistenschneider’s premises; “The tenderness of the everyday” is captured in the form of collected soap scraps. As soon as visitors enter Müller’s exhibition “Der Anfang steht schon fest”, they are initially thrown back on themselves. They look at themselves from various small mirrors in the entrance area before they can trace the artist’s biography in the other rooms.”
